There is no formal minimum or maximum requirement for the number of Recommendations OMTP issues in a single year; there is however, a clearly defined and transparent process to determine which subject areas are tackled. Any OMTP Member, Sponsor or Advisor can propose an area of focus, and a formal review, consultation and toll gate process, culminating in a board decision, decides which of the myriad issues to tackle. All participants in the OMTP Community are positively encouraged to bring ideas to the forum and if appropriate, to lead the elected working group tasked with the recommendation.
